Beer & Barley Soup
Barley is an ingredient in beer, so why not make beer an ingredient in a barley soup? We tried it and loved it and hope you will too. It's rather thick and definitely delicious!

Directions
- Add contents of the jar to a large saucepan
- Add 7-8 cups of water and 12-ounce can of beer (optional).
- Bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes. Watch carefully if using beer, it can bubble over.
